Keys To Writing More Profitable Content

Updated on June 29, 2017

WRITE ABOUT THE TOPICS THAT YOU KNOW AND INTEREST YOU

It is far more easier to write on topic's that interest you, rather then one's that don't. If you are unaware of the topic, you will end up going and spending your time researching the subject, then write it all out in your own words.Which in my opinion is pointless because they are going to end up doing the same thing.

So if you are interested in arts and crafts, write about various subjects within that topic. You can write about kid's crafts and another one about Christmas crafts. The more you know of the topic, the faster you will get the content done. And you can move onto the next one.

WRITING ON WHATS TRENDING RIGHT NOW

If you feel like you need to write about specific topic, such as popular topics that are trending. Make sure to do your research, before posting anything.Look around at different article's. Sometime's you can put your own spin on a subject, and add information from two different articles.Someone always leaves out information on a subject, so I like to put ALL the information together. It makes the reader happier, and they are likely to "follow you" because you did so good.

WEBSITE SUBMISSION AND PINGING YOUR SITE

So, you write this great article, and you are extremely proud of it..You go to bed thinking that when you get up the next day, that you will have gotten tons of traffic..But you only got 5 views...

The truth is, your going to have to manually submit your website link so that it can show up in search engines..

I have found alot of site's that let you submit mutiple website's for free..It consists of a Title,Description,Keywords and URL..

There is no specific time amount that you should be waiting for your site's to show up in the search engines. It could take anywhere from 72 hours to a week or so. If you want your article or site to get a higher rank, then read below because pinging should be your next step.

WHAT IS PINGING?

When you ping your website, it is showing up as UPDATED content..So it shows it as if it's new..There are a few really good site's that you can use to ping your websites for free...

You can find everything below

ADD A FEW PICTURES

Without pictures, your content seems a little boring and the reader's wont want to stick around.Or even come back to check if you have updated the content.Always add a picture to go with your content. If you are writing of a certain topic like how to, or cooking add pictures so the reader's know what your talking about. And it will also make it easier for them to want to stay on your page and even possibly check out another article you have written.

Try not to use a picture everyone else is using. If you are interested in photography, then start taking your own stock photo's.

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR SPELLING

Always do a quick proofreading of your content.Make sure it is easy to read, and that all grammar and spelling are free of mistakes.

Internet Browser's come with spell check usually. So make sure it is turned on so it can help you out.

STRONG SEARCHABLE TITLES

You want your title to stand out, but you dont want it to be so bold that it will never be searched for. Make sure you think like your readers.Title's should be as if a reader was searching for that subject.

For example: You write your content about:New health treatments for fibromyalgia. But you want it to be snazzy, so you use the title- Up to date fibromyalgia treatments.

A reader is likely to search new or current fibromyalgia treatments.Your title should be right in the middle of it all.

CHOOSE PROFITABLE KEYWORDS

It is kind of like the strong searchable titles tip. Although this affects the whole article that you are writing, and how people search in search engines. The reader's are looking for specific topics and subjects. You need to make sure that your keywords match up to what they are searching for. Make sure it is in the median range, DO NOT fill your content of keywords. But also DO NOT use too little. Make sure to put about 10 tags to your content. For Example, You wrote your content on Making money online. Don't use "how to make money online, make money online, making more money online". You can actually get in trouble for using too many keywords that have 3 or more of the same word in them.

WRITE EVERGREEN CONTENT

Evergreen content never goes out of style or becomes out of date.It contains useful information that can be used for years and years.

Examples of evergreen content are:

  • How to get rid of ant's
  • Cupcake recipes
  • Budget-friendly Thanksgiving Dinner
  • How to get more without paying more:Christmas
  • Art's and crafts
  • Cleaning a pool
  • Feeding fish
  • Health tips

KEEP CONTENT UPDATED

Once a week check over your content to see if there is anything you can add to it to make it better. You want to keep your reader's informed, and if they notice you keep everything updated, you will have a good traffic flow from them.

Between content updates we always seem to learn something new on that subject. So add it into your update instead of trying to make new content around it.

Alot of people will write on a subject, and it ends up being a flop because the writer didn't know enough to write about it themselves. So make sure to keep your reader informed in the current content you have written.

USE PAGE DIVIDER'S TO ORGANIZE YOUR HUB

Page divider's help you by moving your content together AND separate it, at the same time.

It make's each capsule more noticeable and easier to read.Studies show that when writing isn't organized or there is alot of content.Your brain tells you that you haven't found what you are looking for. Even if you have.

So use the divider's to help your reader's, and it's a great way to personalize your hub.
